Orlando Pirates ended their 2024-25 Betway Premiership campaign with a 1-1 draw against Magesi FC at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

The Buccaneers got off to a great start and broke the deadlock as early as the seventh minute when Patrick Maswanganyi slotted the ball home from outside the box after latching on to a free-kick to make it 1-0.

Magesi FC found the equalising goal in the 32nd minute when Edmore Chirambadare found the back of the net with a stunning strike from a tight angle to find the far bottom corner.

Neither side were able to find the winning goal, as both sides shared the spoils and left with a point apiece.

The draw sees Pirates end the campaign in second place on the log with 60 points, having won 19, drawn four and conceded five defeats in 28 matches.

Meanwhile, Magesi finished their season in 12th place on 31 points after winning eight matches, drawing seven and suffering 13 defeats in 28 matches.
