South Africa qualified for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) after they defeated Malawi 2-0 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The South African national team came into the return leg trailing by one goal after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the first-leg against the Malawians last weekend.
Bafana drew the game level on aggregate in the 12th minute when Victor Letsoalo found the back of the net.
South Africa doubled their lead in the 87th minute with captain Neo Maema scoring the winning goal that saw the home side claim a 2-1 aggregate win to secure their qualification to CHAN.
