Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso says his side are in for another “tough one” when they take on Chippa United in the Betway Premiership on Wednesday.
The Brazilians will come into this fixture having done the double over Cape Town City following their 2-0 victory at the DHL Stadium this past weekend.
Sundowns will now shift their focus to the upcoming encounter against the Chilli Boys when the two sides meet at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.
The Tshwane giants come into this fixture sitting at the top of the league standings with 64 points, having won 21 games, drawn one and only conceded three defeats in 25 matches.
Chippa, meanwhile, are placed ninth on the log with 30 points after winning eight games, drawing six and suffering 11 defeats in 25 matches.
The match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium has been scheduled to kick-off at 19:30 on Wednesday.
“Amazing and again a very good performance again. Not an easy game, first half quite tricky we had to make some corrections in our positioning at halftime – message was well received.
“Second half, I think we coped even more – beautiful goals, good performance,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
“The boys are really fighting for what they want so much, we really committed for every match and now its go for next one and next one and try to well try to get it.
“But we need to respect everybody because the next opponent will again be a very tough one.”
