AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin knows there is a lot of expectations but is confident that he can โ€œachieve great things with the club.โ€

The Spanish tactician was recently appointed as the new head coach of Usuthu after signing a 36-month-long deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The 43-year-old arrive in South Africa on Thursday and received a warm welcome at the King Shaka International Airport in Durban.

Franco Martin brings a wealth of experience and most notably is a former assistant coach of Real Madrid and the Spanish coach is confident he can achieve great things with the club.

โ€œWe are going to work very hard. I promise good things for the team,โ€ Franco Martin told his clubโ€™s official website.

โ€œIโ€™m really happy. I was not expecting this beautiful welcome with all these people here and the clubโ€™s president [Sandile Zungu].

โ€œIโ€™m coming here with a lot of expectations for the next seasons. Iโ€™m already feeling at home and I think we will achieve great things with the club.

โ€œHopefully, I will have more time with the club. I feel this is the real club for me.โ€
