The 25-year-old created an assist after threading through an inch-perfect pass to Nigerian forward Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis to score the opening goal after just eight minutes of play.
Dennis picked up his brace to hand Brugge a 2-0 lead in the first half. However, Madrid fought back to draw the game 2-2 on the night.
