The Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary committee on Tuesday night imposed a six-month ban from football on TS Sporting official Vusi Ntimane.

Following Mpho Makola’s six-month ban, the league has found TS Sporting football manager Mtimane guilty of misconduct in abusing and harassing a match official, Akho Ndzingo, during their GladAfrica Championship clash with AmaTuks on 2 November.

The PSL has since released the following statement:

‘Ntimane was found guilty of misconduct in abusing, harassing and throwing the contents of an energy drink bottle at match official Akho Ndzingo during a GladAfrica Championship fixture between TS Sporting and the University of Pretoria at Tuks Stadium on November 2.

‘TS Sporting were also found guilty and fined R200,000, of which R150,000 was suspended for a period of 24 months.

‘The club and Ntimane were ordered to pay for the costs of the Disciplinary Committee sitting.’
