Cape Town City has confirmed that the club has rewarded forward Judas Moseamedi by handing him a new long-term contract at the club.

The 23-year-old has since extended his stay at the Citizens until June 2022, despite missing the start of the 2017-18 campaign.

City also confirmed that 24-year-old right wing Craig Martin has also prolonged his stay at the club, with his deal running until 2023.

The Citizens have been busy during the transfer market after signing winger Surprise Ralani, defender Kwanda Mngonyama and striker Masoud Juma.

Benni McCarthy’s side has already lost the services of Aubrey Ngoma and Lehlohonolo Majoro, who joined Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits respectively, while Kamogelo Mogotlane, Mickyle Jackson, Safwan Hendricks and Duncan Adonis have all been loaned out to teams in the National First Division.
