Cape Town City captain Lebogang Manyama was the big winner at the PSL awards ceremony after walking away with three awards on the night.

Manyama won three awards and a total of R425 000 in prize money on the night, claiming the Footballer of the Year, Absa Premiership Player’s Player of the Year and Golden Boot awards with 13 goals.

Bidvest Wits enjoyed a successful evening as Gavin Hunt was voted as the Absa Premiership Coach of the Season, Darren Keet walked away with the Absa Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season, Thulani Hlatshwayo took the Absa Premiership Defender of the Season, Phakamani Mahlambi won the Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season and Daine Klate was voted as the MTN8 Last Man Standing.

Manyama’s teammate Aubrey Ngoma claimed two awards, including the Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament and the Absa Premiership Midfielder of the Season.

Orlando Pirates defender Abbubaker Mobara won the Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament while Golden Arrows’ Nduduzo Sibiya took the Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala bested Baroka goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke to win the Absa-Lutely Awesome Goal of the Season.

Other big winners on the night, included Sedwyn George, who won the National First Division Golden Boot award with 20 goals,  Tshegofatso Mabaso took the MultiChoice Diski Challenge Top Goal Scorer and Keletso Makgalwa being named the MultiChoice Diski Challenge Player of the Tournament.
