Black Leopards have appointed former Real Madrid youth coach Alejandro Dorado as their new head coach ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Lidoda Duvha are set to return to the second division after they bought the Motsepe Foundation Championship status of All Stars following their relegation.

The 38-year-old coach was unveiled by the club in Polokwane and will now work alongside former Malawi international Peter Mponda.

Dorado’s appointment as the new coach will be the Spanish mentors first job as a head coach.

The Spanish coach begin his journey in coach as the youth coach of Spanish giants Real Madrid from July 2012 to June 2018.

After parting was with Real he joined FC Honka as an assistant coach where he spent one year before moving to DL Pro where he stayed for two season.

Dorado most recently was on the books at HFX Wanderers and has been at the club since January 2022 before he parted ways with the club to join Leopards.

The Spanish mentor will now be tasked with helping the club get promoted back to the top-flight during the 2023/24 season.
