Catch up with the highlights from Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 victory over TS Galaxy which saw the Soweto giants sneak into the top 8 on the final day of the season.

Chiefs knew nothing but a victory would see them finish in the top 8 against the team who occupied the spot heading into the game.

After a good start from Galaxy, Amakhosi grew into the game and managed to snatch the lead after 26 minutes as Reeve Frosler’s throw-in came off a Galaxy head and was flicked on inadvertently to Nurkovic, who nodded past Wensten van der Linde to give his side the lead.

Chiefs could’ve wrapped up the game with 10 minutes to go when Nurkovic whipped in a cross which looked destined to be tapped home by substitute Njabulo Blom, but Van der Linde got a vital touch to ensure Blom missed the cross.

The Soweto giants managing to hold onto their lead and pick up a massive win to ensure they finished the season in the top 8.
