Kaizer Chiefs communications manager Vina Maphosa has been tight-lipped on Amakhosi’s activities during the deadline day of the January transfer window.

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the January transfer window will close today at midnight and the Glamour Boys are expected to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season

Maphos says the club has until midnight to complete their transfer activities but remained tight-lipped about their current transfer targets.

‘The window period is still on, it’s still early for us [Kaizer Chiefs] to say anything. Let’s talk later (today), in the afternoon,’ Maphos told KickOff.com.

‘For now, even if there was something I wouldn’t say it, let’s just wait until the afternoon at least.’

Kaizer Chiefs will next take on welcome Free State Stars to the FNB Stadium when the two sides meet in the Absa Premiership on February 7.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
