Orlando Pirates have begun their preparations for their upcoming DStv Premiership encounter against Cape Town Spurs when the two sides meet at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Buccaneers will enter his fixture high in confidence after snatching a narrow 1-0 victory over Polokwane City thanks to a goal from Evidence Makgopa at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Spurs, meanwhile, are looking to continue their current momentum after they secured their second consecutive win in the league following their 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy courtesy of goals from Ashley Cupido and Katlego Maphathe at Athlone Stadium on Sunday.

Pirates currently sit in fourth place on the log with 29 points from 18 games, Spurs are at the bottom of the league table with 10 points after 18 matches.
