AmaZulu have announced the signing of nine new players while confirming the departure of 14 players ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Usuthu have been quite throughout the transfer window but the club president Sandile Zungu and now unveiled nine new players who will join the squad for the season ahead.

The Durban-based outfit also confirmed the departures of 14 players who makes way for the new signings.

Usuthu are set to kick start their DStv Premiership campaign when they face off against Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday evening.

“The club AmaZulu had a very successful pre-season programme spanning over 6 weeks,” AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu said.

“This saw players within the club’s books as well as those from our youth structures, coupled with a few trialists from the PSL and hopefuls from abroad all getting a lookin against the playing philosophy of Usuthu.

“We played 12 matches against strong KZN and eSwatini opposition, 11 of which we won. We are pleased to announce the signing of all our new players, on contracts ranging from 3 to 4 years.

“In due course, during the current transfer window, we will announce further changes in the team, as and when such changes occur.”
