Bafana Bafana midfielder Keagan Dolly has officially completed his transfer to French Ligue 1 side Montpellier following his move from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The French Ligue 1 side have announced the deal on their official website following his £1.5-million (R25-million) move from the Brazilians.

The 24-year-old midfielder has now signed a four-and-a-half-year deal and will don the number 20 jersey at La Paillade.

Montpellier released a statement on their official website which reads:

‘The MHSC is very pleased to welcome the first South African player in the history of the club and welcomes the good cooperation with Mamelodi Sundowns on this issue. Welcome, Keagan.’

The French side have also recently signed the likes of Nordi Mukiele, Jonathan Ikone (loan) and ukas Pokorny.
