Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they will host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in their Absa Premiership encounter on Saturday.

The Glamour Boys recently extended their winning run in the league to seven games after their 4-0 thumping of Stellenbosch FC at Cape Town Stadium last weekend.

Ernst Middendorp’s side currently have a 10-point lead at the top of the league standings with 31 points after 12 matches played, having won 10, drawn one game and conceded only one defeat.

Meanwhile, Phunya Sele Sele are unbeaten in their last five league games after securing a narrow 1-0 victory over Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium over the weekend.

Siwelele remain in fifth place in the league standings with a total of 17 points from 12 games after they collected four wins, five draws and three defeats so far this season.

The last time these two sides met was in the corresponding fixture played in August 2018 which produced a thrilling 2-2 stalemate, while the second round brought a 1-0 win for Celtic.

The match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium kicks off at 8:15pm.
