Khama Billiat could be in line to make his Kaizer Chiefs PSL debut against former team Mamelodi Sundowns, having bounced back from injury along with veteran midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Chiefs’ communication manager Vina Maphosa eased concerns among the Amakhosi faithful regarding the injuries picked up by the star duo in their pre-season friendly loss to Cape Town City.

Giovanni Solinas can breathe a sigh of relief, with the star duo having resumed training at Naturena ahead of their mammoth tie against the defending champions.

Chiefs are likely to be without the services of George Maluleka, who also missed his side’s Shell Helix Cup defeat against Masandawana in July.

The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder spent time in a moon boot, with the date of his return not yet scheduled.
