Man of the Match Bernard Morrison revealed that his goal celebration in the 2-0 victory against Ajax Cape Town was meant for former Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertrugal.

Morrison netted a brace as Pirates got their revenge against the Urban Warriors, who thumped them 3-0 in a midweek league encounter last week.

Ertugral enjoyed a brief stint with the Mayfair based-outfit but tenured his resignation after being humiliated 6-1 by SuperSport United.

Although he didn’t want to delve into the details, Morrison admitted he did not see eye-to-eye with Ertugral during his time with Pirates, hence the somewhat disrespectful celebration.

‘There was some problems going on between Muhsin [and me] and the celebration was meant to him,’ he told the media in post-match comments.

Pirates mentor Milutin Sredojevic heaped praise on the Ghanaian following his performance.

‘He brings good spirit in the team. We are always in a good mood. He is the one spicing up the good mood in the team.

‘His hard work has paid off. But at the same moment, he has done a thing from what he is capable of. He must continue working hard,’ he concluded.
