Barcelona striker Luis Suarez looks set for a new deal at the club and will be receiving an extra £100,000 a week as they look to tie down Uruguayan striker until 2020.

Barca are determined to extend Suarez’s contract with the club and he is expected to receive an additional £100,000-a-week that would put the Uruguayan on the same wage as teammate Neymar.

Suarez will match the £272,000-a-week earned by Neymar, which still dwarfed by the £360,000-a-week Messi takes home every seven days, according to Mail Online.

The Spanish giants accept that the striker deserves to be rewarded with a bumper deal after he scored an incredible 40 La Liga goals last season for Barca.
