Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell has labelled his side’s FA Cup clash against Derby County as a special occasion for the club.

The 20-year-old could potentially participate in his first East Midlands derby when the Foxes travel to the iPro Stadium for their fourth round encounter against the Rams.

It is set to be a thrilling clash that Chilwell knows will be hard-fought having witnessed the first team compete in local derbies since he joined the Club at the age of 12.

The England U21 international insists that his side are excited for their local derby clash against Derby.

However, Chilwell believes the Foxes has the potential to defeat the Rams in what is expected to be a tough encounter.

‘The lads are really excited,’ Chilwell told the Leicester City website.

‘Obviously Derby are our local rivals, so it’s a match that all the lads, the staff and the fans will be looking forward to. It’s a big match and we’re all positive.

‘It’s a local game against good opposition, so it’s going to be a good match. If both teams turn up on the day, it’ll be a really good match for the neutral to watch. We’re going there to do a job, which is to win the match, so hopefully we can do that.’

The match at the iPro Stadium kicks off at 21:55.
