PUMA has unveiled two special edition boots ahead of the major derby this weekend between the top two London clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal.

On Saturday 4 February, Chelsea and Arsenal will come together once again 110 years since the sides first met at Stamford Bridge. For this major London fixture, PUMA star players, Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas will go head to head on the pitch wearing their own club inspired signature Derby Fever boots.

With both sides battling it out for the top-spot, and former Gunner, Fabregas, welcoming his old club back to the Bridge, the game promises to be heated and passion fuelled. Whether your blood runs red or blue, the heart of London will be beating double time for this special game.

Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas’ Derby Fever signature boots are the third and fourth instalment in the Derby Fever collection that has already celebrated the likes of Santi Cazorla in the North London Derby and Antoine Griezmann in El Derbi Madrileno last year. In tribute to these top encounters between longstanding local football foes, PUMA has been working with its top players to gain key personal insights to develop special edition boots, designed to capture the heat of the occasion, that can be worn by each player with pride on matchday.

For this top of the table derby, Hector Bellerín will be wearing his heart on his boots with his own evoSPEED 17 SL-S Bellerín Derby Fever edition. Adorned with references to the history of the club that inspire him in battle, the boot will bring the spirit and passion of North London to the turf of Stamford Bridge. White soled with a red upper that features an all over print of the gothic ‘A’ inspired by Arsenal’s former crest, the boot has an Arsenal inspired look and feel.

The red upper is cut into by a second graphic print in grey and white on the heel that features circular icons. Drawing inspiration from Hector’s widespread social presence, the icons connect with both PUMA and Bellerín’s own graphic identity. The custom boot features the bold Derby Fever emblem on the outer heel, further emphasising that this is no routine fixture.
