The Premier League continues to thrill fans around the world and week 29 is unlikely to be any different, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:

1) Arsenal to overcome West Brom

Arsenal travel to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom in a must-win Premier League clash for the Gunners. Arsene Wenger’s charges have had a torrid past couple of weeks, having won only one of their last three Premier League games, and suffering an embarrassing 10-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The North London side will be looking to turn things around, expect them to come out firing this weekend and grab the three points.

2) Son to deputise for Kane

Last weekend in Tottenham’s FA cup fixture against Millwall, a nightmare came true as Harry Kane was substituted off early on in the game with an ankle injury which could sideline him for a number of weeks. Heung-Min Son filled Kane’s boots against Millwall, moving into the striker’s position and grabbing a hat-trick. Expect the South Korean to do so again for Spurs this weekend and hit the back of the net as they host Southampton at White Hart Lane.

3) Everton to ease to three more points

Everton host relegation threatened Hull City this weekend at Goodison Park. The Toffees are in good form coming into this weekend’s fixture after their 3-0 victory over West Brom last weekend. Hull had an equally good result last weekend as they beat Swansea 2-1 to keep their survival hopes alive. Expect Ronald Koeman’s men to be too strong at home and overcome Hull City, gaining the three points in the process.

4) City to edge Liverpool

Manchester City host Liverpool this weekend at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City, who were knocked out of the Champions League this week, will be desperate to put in a big performance against a Liverpool side who always raise their game against the big teams. Expect a goal-filled feast in which Pep Guardiola’s men could just edge.

5) United to beat managerless Boro

Middlesbrough and their manager Aitor Karanka parted ways on Thursday afternoon after a poor run of form which sees them sitting in the relegation zone. This weekend Boro host Manchester United at the Riverside Stadium. Manchester United come into the game after a packed two weeks which has seen their squad hit with injuries and suspensions. Despite this, expect Jose Mourinho’s men to overcome their hosts and gain the vital three points.

6) Palace to continue survival fight

After two wins in a row, it seems as though Sam Allardyce is finally getting his Crystal Palace side playing his effective style of football. Palace will be hoping to continue their resurgence this weekend as they host Watford at Selhurst Park. Allardyce’s men sit only 1 point above the relegation zone, expect them to go all out for the victory this weekend and beat an inconsistent Watford side.

7) Sunderland to reignite survival fight

Sunderland sits bottom of the league and are six points from safety. If Sunderland are to stay in the league, they need to start picking up victories, starting with this weekend as they host Burnley at the Stadium of Light. Expect David Moyes’s men to come out fighting for their survival this weekend and gain an important victory.
