Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has revealed his plan to strengthen his squad as they prepare for the 2025-26 season.
The Glamour Boys failed to secure a top-eight spot in the Betway Premiership after playing out to a goalless draw against Polokwane City at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Amakhosi finished the campaign in ninth position with 32 points, a point outside the top eight, having won eight, drawn eight and conceded 12 in 28 matches.
On the positive side, Aamkhosi did manage to end their 10-year trophy drought after they lifted the 2025 Nedbank Cup title after beating rivals Orlando Pirates in the final.
Nabi has since opened up ablout his plans for the new campaign after their season came to an end this weekend.
“We had a conversation with the Chairman and management yesterday and we have a clear idea of what needs to be done,” Nabi told his club’s official website.
“In terms of players, I won’t say how many or which players we need but the recruitment department is working very hard.
“Some contact with targets has started already and we are sure the team will be strengthened for next season.”
