Juventus left back Patrice Evra has put his and Luis Suarez’s past differences behind him as he congratulated the star on his Golden Shoe award.

The pair were formally embroiled in a controversial racism row back when Suarez was a Liverpool player, with the Uruguayan subsequently receiving a lengthy ban in punishment from the FA.

But the Frenchman has now seemingly cooled his feelings towards the Barcelona striker, as the pair’s history did not prevent the defender from praising his rival’s scoring feat.

The olive branch extended by the star was posted on Instagram.

‘In my instagram there is only love, never hate,’ the player’s message read.
