Manchester City target Gabriel Jesus has revealed that he is close to completing a move away from Brazilian side Palmeiras.

The 19-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Brazil at the Olympics, has refused to confirm which club he is destined for according to SkySports.

The Brazilian striker has recently been linked to a number of Europe’s top clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus.

The Palmeiras youth product has revealed that he will leave the Brazilian club this transfer window but insists that his only focus now is on helping his side claim gold at the Olympics.

‘My future is almost decided,’ Jesus said.

‘My family, my representatives and Palmeiras know where I want to go, but now I’m totally focused on winning gold for my country. The agreement is almost done but I’m completely concentrated here.

‘Before I came here, I was in negotiations but now that I’m here, I’m leaving it to my parents and my agents. Before long, my decision will be known.’

He scored 19 goals in 31 games for Palmeiras last season and was included in Brazil’s provisional 40-man squad for the Copa America in the United States last month.

City have already made a number of summer signings including midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund and striker Nolito from Celta Vigo.
