Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced his 24-man squad to face Seychelles in back-to-back African Nations Cup qualifiers this month.

The South African national team are currently placed second in Group E, level on four points with log-leaders Libya after two matches played.

South Africa will host the Islanders in their first fixture at the FNB Stadium on 13 October with kick-off scheduled for 3pm in Johannesburg before taking on the same opponents three days later at Stade Linite with kick-off set for 2:30pm.

Baxter has named several changes from the previous Bafana squad that played against Libya including Thapelo Morena, Lebo Maboe, Thabo Nodada, Teboho Mokoena, Lebo Phiri, Dino Ndlovu and Phakamani Mahlambi.

Meanwhile, the coach has opted against selecting Bradley Grobler, Themba Zwane, Siphesihle Ndlovu while Keagan Dolly and Bongani Zungu continue to recover from their long-term injuries.

Defenders: Ramahlwe Mphahlele (Kaizer Chiefs), Motjeka Madisha (Mamelodi Sundowns), Thapelo Morena (Mamelodi Sundowns), Siyanda Xulu (Maritzburg United), Thulani Hlatshwayo (Bidvest Wits), Buhle Mkwanazi (Bidvest Wits), S’Fiso Hlanti (Bidvest Wits), Innocent Maela (Pirates).

Midfielders: Dean Furman (SuperSport United), Teboho Mokoena (SuperSport United), Lebogang Maboe (Mamelodi Sundowns), Hlompho Kekana (Mamelodi Sundowns), Sibusiso Vilakazi (Mamelodi Sundowns), Thabo Nodada (Cape Town City), Kamohelo Mokotjo (Brentford), Vincent Pule (Orlando Pirates).

Strikers: Lebogang Phiri (Guingamp, France), Dino Ndlovu (Hangzhou, China), Percy Tau (Royal Union, Belgium), Lebo Mothiba (Racing Strasbourg, France), Phakamani Mahlambi (Mamelodi Sundowns).
