South African Bongani Zungu scored a last-minute equaliser to mark a successful full debut for Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes.

Zungu, who left Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of last season, scored his first goal since November 2015 in just his second appearance, his first start for Vitoria after a lengthy injury battle.

The Portuguese club will now be hoping to keep the Bafana Bafana international fit for a prolonged period of time in order to reap the rewards of bringing to the club from the PSL.

Zungu will be looking to stake a claim in South Africa’s squad for the remainder of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in a congested attacking lineup that includes Thulani Serero.
