Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer is hoping that striker Gabadinho Mhango can rediscover his form when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns next week.

The Buccaneers will be hoping to bounce back after playing out to a goalless draw against Golden Arrows at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in their previous Absa Premiership encounter.

Pirates currently occupy fourth place in the league standings with 40 points from 23 games and are eight points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

Zinnbauer is not worried about Mhango’s position at the top of the scoring charts as he is focused on helping the striker return to form.

‘For me that’s not important. I’m happy when Gaba scores and when he makes goals, but for me, the most important is the focus on the team,’ Zinnbauer told the media.

‘There are a lot of games left where he can score. I hope he will score in our next game against Sundowns, but we have other players who can score too.’

Orlando Pirates against Mamelodi Sundowns is scheduled for 7:30pm.
