Bidvest Wits have been handed a major boost heading into their final Absa Premiership game for 2018 with the return of trio Buhle Mkhwanazi, Thabang Monare and Simon Murray.

The Clever Boys are set to take on Chippa United in the upcoming league fixture, hoping to end their year on a positive note.

Gavin Hunt’s men are currently placed first on the PSL standings, level on 27 points with Orlando Pirates after 14 games.

Club captain, Thulani Hlatshwayo, is doubtful for their upcoming clash against the Chili Boys after sustaining an injury during their 2-1 victory over newly-crowned Telkom Knockout champions Baroka.

Meanwhile, the club received a boost with the return of key players, including Buhle Mkhwanazi, Thabang Monare and Simon Murray, who all return to the squad following their respective injuries.

The trio is likely to be included in their match day squad after they resumed full training and missing out in their trip to Baroka last weekend.

Bidvest Wits will welcome Chippa United to the Bidvest Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Friday, with kick-off set for 8pm.
