A hat-trick from Shalulile and goals from Gaston Sirino, Pavol Safranko and Kermit Erasmus had Sundowns opening a 14-point lead at the top of the table over closest rivals Royal AM in second place.

Meanwhile, Abafana Bes’thende conceded their second successive defeat in the league, which leaves them in ninth place on the table –level on 31 points with SuperSport United in eighth position.
