Watch as PSL senior official prof. Ronnie Schloss and Absa head of sponsorship Mtuzi Jonas discuss all the changes to the upcoming Absa Premiership campaign.

The league and Absa have enjoyed a long-standing partnership and have again  upped their game for fans by offering a whole new host of initiatives to engage with the them.

Some of the changes to the competition backed by Absa includes trying to give more fans access to the Absa Premiership. The company will be doing this by rewarding certain new Absa customers with an exclusive offer that includes a free 12-month DStv subscription, a HD decoder and installation every single day, for a period of three months.

They are also introducing a financial management and wellness partnership with the PSL in which Absa will take a more active role in securing the financial future of the players, team management and staff who makes the Absa Premiership tick.

Also announced was the introduction of the Woza Nazo Wheel, which fans will spin to win prizes on a game show on SABA in the week building up to the 12 Woza Nazo fixtures.

Finally, the Kick for a Millions campaign has been switched to the Woza Nazo Shootout, where football fans will stand a chance to win instant cash prizes to the value of R100,000 at each of the selected Woza Nazo fixtures. On match day, five Absa customers will be brought on to the pitch at half time to kick against a legendary Absa Premiership goalkeeper in a sudden-death competition until there is only one winner.

Absa Premiership fever will officially begin with the opening fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United in the Tshwane derby on Saturday. Fans can also look out for the first Woza Nazo fixture of the season on Sunday with Highlands Park vs Kaizer Chiefs at Makhulong Stadium, Tembisa.
