Cape Town City put an end to Mamelodi Sundowns’ seven-game unbeaten streak in the Absa Premiership as they ran out 1-0 victors at the Loftus Versveld Stadium on Tuesday night.

Nana Akosah-Bempah scored the only goal of the game to make it three victories in three games for the Citizens against Masandawana.

The victory sees Benni McCarthy’s side move to second spot on the table, four points behind Sundowns, who enjoy a game in hand.
