Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Sibusiso Vilakazi has opened up on the sale of his former club Bidvest Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM).

The Clever Boys’ PSL status was brought by TTM owner Masala Mulaudzi after both parties agreed terms.

As a result of the clubs sale, they will now be renaming and relocating the club to Venda for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Vilakazi, who came through the ranks at Wits, has since shared his sentiments on the sale of his former club.

‘It is a big loss, the team has been there for years and I am disappointed and sad for what has happened, they have contributed to a lot of players in South Africa. I had my debut there. I went on to create memories at that club and they will always be there. I become Footballer of the Season there and I worked with great coaches, like Roger De Sa, Clive Barker and Gavin Hunt. I am honoured at the opportunity they gave me,’ Vilakazi told his club’s official website.
