Top five PSL coaches for 2019-20 season

SoccerClub writer DYLAN APPOLIS takes a look at the performances of the top five PSL coaches during the 2019-20 season so far.

The Glamour Boys currently sit at the top of the Absa Premiership standings with 48 points from 22 matches played so far this campaign, having won 15, drawn three and conceded four defeats with a goal difference of 23.

Meanwhile, the Brazilians occupy second place in the league standings after playing 21 games and collecting 44 points from 13 wins, five draws and suffering the fewest defeats in the PSL with three.

Matsatsantsa make up the top three on the league table after collecting 11 wins, seven draws and six defeats, while picking up a total of 40 points from 24 matches played so far.

The Buccaneers, meanwhile, are eight points off the log leaders in fourth place with 40 points from 23 games and have already won 11 games, drawn seven and suffered five defeats.

Despite Wits coach Gavin Hunt making the list, the Clever Boys are not in the top five and currently sit in sixth place on the table with 38 points from 21 games, winning 11, drawing five, and conceding five defeats so far this season.
