The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United has been scheduled for Wednesday morning, with kick-off at 10:00.

The Absa Premiership fixture between the Brazilians and the Chilli Boys is set to take centre stage at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday.

The fixture was stopped on Tuesday night by the referee due to a power failure in and around the Loftus Stadium area. The match was scheduled to resume, but play was eventually  abandoned.

The match was stopped in the 42nd minute with the score at 0-0, and according to Rule 14 of the NSL Handbook, the remaining minutes of the fixture will be resumed.

Sundowns are currently placed fifth in the Absa Premiership standing with 32 points and have won 10 out of 14 matches played so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chippa United sits in ninth on the table with 21 points, having played 18 matches and won just five.

The match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium resumes at 10:00.
