Milutin Sredojevic says his move to Egyptian giants Zamalek is a dream come true after he resigned from Orlando Pirates to take charge of the club.

Sredojevic stepped down as Pirates coach citing personal problems as the reason and it has since been reported that Sredojevic’s mother is battling breast cancer.

However, media reports in Egypt claimed that the coach was set to join Zamalek.

The Serbian coach denied the reports, though, and slammed them as total nonsense stating he was travelling to Serbia to visit his sick mother and that Zamalek would have to fork out millions for his services.

The coach, affectionately known as Micho, was then spotted in Egypt and has since been confirmed as Zamalek’s head coach.

Sredojevic has now commented on his move to the Egyptian giants.

‘I have been coaching in Africa for 19 years. I have worked in seven countries and visited 50 out of 54 African countries‚ but today I can say that my dream has come true after taking charge of Zamalek‚’ Micho was quoted by KingFut.com.

‘We have a fantastic squad. The best Tunisian players‚ the best three Moroccan players‚ in addition to the Egyptian ones. The club has all the success factors.

‘Zamalek is a special club that you fall in love with as soon as you enter it. I want to work hard in order to achieve the fans’ goals,’ he concluded.
