Orlando Pirates coach José Riveiro knows exactly what is at stake when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby.

The Buccaneers are preparing to take on Amakhosi in what is expected to be an entertaining clash at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Pirates come into this fixture looking to bounce back following their 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium last weekend.

The Sea Robbers currently sit in second place on the league standings with 46 points, having won 15, drawn one and conceded five defeats in 21 matches.

Riveiro has urged his side to stay calm and focused with the pressure that comes with playing in a derby match.

“Personally, it has changed my life. I am impressed with the league- not only my players,” Riveiro told his club’s official website.

“It’s nice to have such talented players. I tell them all the time that they make me happy having to manage such talent.

“We understand the responsibility — we are a winning team.”
