Watch the highlights as Kaizer Chiefs picked up their first win over rivals Orlando Pirates since 2014 at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Amakhosi were gifted the perfect start as Ntsikelelo Nyauza nodded past his own keeper in a horror own goal with just a minute played. Not long after Chiefs were 2-0 up as Leonardo Castro rose highest from a corner to head home with 28 minutes gone.

Pirates though wouldn’t lie down and Vincent Pule pulled one back before half time with a magnificent free-kick before Gabhadinho Mhango netted the equaliser with 30 minutes to play.

The Sea Robbers were ontop and asking all the questions but with eight minutes left to play Chiefs were awarded a penalty when Bernard Parker went down in the Pirates box and the referee pointed to the spot.Daniel Cardoso stepped up and calmly converted the spot kick to fire Chiefs back ahead.

Tensions rose and emotions the boiled over in the final stages as a tussle broke out between the two players which eventually saw Chiefs defender Eric Mathoho sent off.

Amakhosi though managed to hold on and walk away with all three points and the bragging rights in the Soweto derby.
