Mamelodi Sundowns forward Gaston Sirino has received the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month award for November.

The 27-year-old earned the monthly accolade for his stunning curling effort in Sundowns’ 3-1 win over Free State Stars at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on 7 November 2018.

The Uruguayan forward, who claimed his maiden individual award since his arrival in the country, has been a crucial part in Pitso Mosimane’s side since the start of the 2018-19 Absa Premiership, while enjoying a number of impressive performances.

He has since bagged a total of seven goals and four assists in all competitions.

There were nine other contenders for the monthly prize, including his Sundowns teammate Jeremy Brockie’s half volley in the same fixture, Emiliano Tade’s low strike against Highlands, Hashim Domingo’s stunningly free kick when Bidvest Wits beat Bloemfontein Celtic, and Yannick Zakri’s flicked header in the clash between Maritzburg United and Highlands Park.
