Sekhukhune United have continued to bolster their squad by officially confirmed the signing of Zimbabwe international Talent Chawapiwa.

The 29-year-old parted ways with AmaZulu after struggling for regular game time under coach Benni McCarthy last season, having made only 20 appearances across all competitions for Usuthu during the 2020-21 season.

However, he has now found a new home at Sekhukhune United after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract ahead of the 2021-22 DStv Premiership season.

Chawapiwa will bring a wealth of experience to the DStv Premiership newcomers having previously turned out for Harare City, ZPC Kariba, FC Platinum, Baroka FC and Usuthu.

“Sekhukhune United FC is pleased to announce the signing of the 29-year-old Talent Chawapiwa from AmaZulu FC ahead of the 2021-22 season,” read a statement from Sekhukhune on Wednesday.

“Babina Noko Let’s welcome our new signing.”
