Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon is currently training with Scottish Premier League outfit Hibernian.

The 22-year-old is currently a free agent after he was released by the Glamour Boys at the end of the 2018-19 season.

Moon has been trainung with Hibs at their Ormiston based on Thursday as he lools to impress Paul Heckingbottom and his technical team.

The lanky striker has bagged five goals in 29 appearances for Chiefs before being released by the club ans has scored one goal for South African in eight appearances.

Hibernian confirmed his arrival on their official twitter page, stating: ‘Paul Heckingbottom will also take a look at South African international striker Ryan Moon after he joined the rest of the squad for pre-season training.’

‘The 22-year-old is a free agent after leaving Kaizer Chiefs.’

He was one of several members of the Amakhosi squad who were released in the latter half of last season, which included the likes of midfielder Pule Ekstein and goalkeeper Virgil Vries.
