Mamelodi Sundowns duo Percy Tau and Pitso Mosimane headline the nominees for the 2017/18 Premier Soccer League (PSL) Awards after the contenders were announced at a press conference at the PSL headquarters on Monday.

Sundowns enjoyed another successful campaign under Mosimane as they were crowned Absa Premiership Champions and progressed to the Caf Champions League group stages. The 2016 Caf Coach of the Year was nominated for Coach of the Season while his star striker Percy Tau, who won the golden boot with 11 goals, was nominated for Footballer of the Season.

Maritzburg United were also among the nominees with Fadlu Davids nominated for Coach of the Season, while Siphesihle Ndlovu was nominated in five different categories.

Former two-time winner of the Footballer of the Season award Teko Modise was in attendance to announce all the nominees.
