Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he is focused on their next game after their defeat to Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on Wednesday.

The Brazilians journey in the MTN8 came to an end when they fell to a 3-1 defeat on aggregate against United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in their two-legged semi-final fixture.

Sundowns will now turn their attention back to the Absa Premiership and will be to bounce back when they take on Maritzburg United on Saturday.

Mosimane insists they have put their defeat behind them and has urged his side to return to winning ways against the Team of Choice.

‘I am not the kind of coach who will always says let’s go back to the drawing board. I don’t take that,’ Mosimane said.

‘It’s a game, we lost and we move on and accept. Don’t make excuses when we lost fairly. We lost, we take it, I go home and understand other games we lose but there are other games that we will win.

‘We had a party last week [in the Caf Champions League match], tonight [Wednesday] is not a party. We have a game on Saturday to fight for.

‘It’s not easy, you must go through this also. Look, there are other teams out of top eight [MTN8] and why not us?’

The match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium kicks off at 6pm.
