Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says his side are expected to win the Caf Champions League and the Absa Premiership.

The Brazilians are set to welcome AmaZulu to the Lucas Moripe Stadium when the two sides meet in the last 16 of the knockout competition.

Mosimane insists that his side are well rested for their clash with Usuthu following the conclusion after the Fifa international break.

‘You are expected to win the Champions League and the domestic league at Sundowns. The AmaZulu game is a big game, one we are expected to win,’ Mosimane told his club’s official website.

‘The Telkom Cup comes within our Champions League and PSL schedule, which means it’s complex and forces us to have games in hand.

‘AmaZulu have a new coach now and in all those games they have played so far they could have got something out of all of them, but they were able to beat Cape Town City. You can see the influence of the new coach as well, so it won’t be an easy game.’

The match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
