Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane called into question some of the referee’s decisions, in addition to admitting that Baroka were sharper than them, following their 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.

Masandawana were denied the opportunity to move to the summit of the Absa Premiership table after a 92nd minute penalty forced Bakgaga a share of the spoils.

The Sundowns mentor admits that he couldn’t tell whether it was a penalty or not from his point of view.

‘I don’t know if it was a penalty. I could not see it from where I am,’ he said in post-match comments.

‘I don’t know if it’s inside the box or outside the box. It’s very difficult for us to see. For me it looks outside the box. It’s okay. It’s football.

‘I’m not sure about the added six minutes. But it’s OK.

‘What surprises me is the guy says five and suddenly its six. I’m not complaining because we lost, I mean drew, because of added six minutes. It’s part of the game.

‘We have to continue. It’s very sad. I hope the referee didn’t make a mistake, otherwise it’s sad.’

The former Bafana Bafana coach conceded that he played against a much fresher team, with Baroka last having played on 30th of April.

‘We must be honest. We were playing a team that has not played in 12 days. They were sharper than us,’ he added.

‘If it’s not meant for us it’s not meant for us. We keep going,’ he concluded.
