Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has welcomed the club’s new signings with some inspirational words.

On Monday, the Buccaneers confirmed the signing of nine new players from several different clubs in the PSL.

The new arrivals include Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Meshack Maphangule, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Abel Mabaso, Paseka Mako and Kudakwashe Mahachi.

Mokwena has looked to welcome all nine players by emphasising the philosophical ideologies that have been implemented by the coaching staff.

‘You are a footballer for 90 minutes. The rest of the time you are a human being. We are going beyond football and what happens on the pitch here. We are focused on developing good human beings,’ Mokwena said on the club’s official Twitter account.
