Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed the signing of Kearyn Baccus after signing a long-term deal with the Soweto giants.

The 27-year-old recently announced that the club have agreed terms with Australian A-League side Melbourne City for the services of Baccus.

Baccus has since concluded his move to Amakhosi after put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Glamour Boys.

The Durban-born defensive midfielder noe becomes Amakhosi’s fourth signing in the current transfer window having already signed Zambian striker Lazarous Kamobole, Serbian forward Samir Nurkovic and Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei.

The Glamour Boys released the following statement on the arrival of Baccus, which reads:

Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the arrival of Kearyn Byron Baccus.

The midfielder lands in Naturena from Australia where he played for Melbourne City FC in the A-League.

The 27-year old, affectionately known as ‘Kizza’, is a Durban-born South African. He spent most of his life in Australia after his family moved there when he was eight.

Baccus has penned a three year deal with Amakhosi.
