Chippa United has confirmed the release of duo Ayanda Masiko and Simphiwe Mtsweni from their contracts, according to the club CEO Peter Koutroulis.

Masiko and Mtsweni decided to part ways with the club after the pair found it difficult to break into the Chilli Boys first team.

‘The Club would like to thank the players for their professionalism and wish them all the best in their endeavours in life,’ reports the Chippa United website.

Meanwhile, Zipho Dlangalala has joined the Chilli Boys as the club’s new assistant coach to head coach Dan Malesela until the end of the season and will now link up with Mbuyiselo Sambu as the assistant coach.
