Liberian forward Anthony Laffor is being linked with a January move to Kaizer Chiefs following on the heels of former Sundowns defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

Despite Laffor being handed more playing time with striker Leonardo Castro on the sidelines, reports have surfaced suggested the 31-year-old is being lined up to end the goal shortage at Chiefs despite have no fewer than six forwards on their books.

The rumour room linked Laffor with a Soweto move last year but the now 31-year-old opted to extend his Chloorkop stay by a further year. According to the SABCthe striker could now be tempted with a move away from Pitso Mosimane’s team with Castro set to play a key role in the second half of the season.

Laffor has featured 10 times in all competitions this season with two goals to his name.
