Bafana Bafana and SuperSport United midfielder Dean Furman has revealed that he will not finish his football career in South Africa.

The 31-year-old was recently part of the Bafana Bafana squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt following their 2-1 defeat to Nigeria.

However, Furman has now set his sites on lifting the a piece of silverware with Matsatsantsa during the 2019-20 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

‘To be honest, I don’t see myself ending my career in South Africa. I have the upcoming season at SuperSport United and then we are really going to assess my options,’ Furman told Sport24.

‘It would be fantastic to grab another trophy with SuperSport United and that is what the club will be pushing for this season.’

SuperSport United will take on Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in their Absa Premiership opener at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on 3 August with kick off set for 3pm.
