Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs were forced to settle for a point in their respective matches, while Orlando Pirates cruised to a comfortable victory over Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday.

Mamelodi Sundowns 2-2 SuperSport United

SuperSport United came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns in the Tshwane derby at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

Sundowns took the lead through Neo Maema and Peter Shalulile, but second-half goals from Divine Lunga and Teboho Mokwena earned SuperSport a point away from home.

Stellenbosch FC 0-3 Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways after they claimed an emphatic 3-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC in their DStv Premiership clash at the Danie Craven Stadium.

A goal from Collins Makgaka and a brace by Deon Hotto was enough to hand the Buccaneers all three points and end Stellies’ unbeaten run in the league.

AmaZulu FC fought back from a goal down to hold Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-1 draw in their Premiership match at the FNB Stadium when Bongi Ntuli cancelled out Keagan Buchanan’s own goal.
